Artisan food? I think it's time for some self-reflection. Today, I ordered the "soup and garlic bread" for takeaway. First off, if you're claiming to offer artisan food, serving canned products just doesn't cut it. When my order was ready, it was served on a plate, and I had to remind them it was for takeaway. I work just 20 meters away, and when I opened my soup container, it was cold. As for the garlic bread, it was simply two slices of toast with a smear of garlic butter. While I was waiting, a gentleman came to pick up his pre-ordered Caesar salad, only to find that he received a garden salad instead. Come on, you're located in the heart of the CBD with plenty of other options nearby.
Hump day has you looking forward to brunch day, and we decided to check out South on Collins in Hobart. We were impressed by the exceptional quality of the food and the attentive service. Although it was our first visit, it certainly won't be our last; it's a place offering great value. The staff demonstrated excellent knowledge of the menu and were attentive to every detail. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and it was incredibly delicious—I will definitely be returning! We dined in and had a wonderful experience.
I haven't visited South on Collins in quite a while, but it was definitely worth the wait. The food is incredible, and the staff are happy and cheerful, genuinely enjoying their work. The atmosphere among the team was relaxed and effortless, which makes for happy customers. Great job on the changes! I will definitely be coming back more often.
The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, the coffee is excellent, and the food is fantastic. I really enjoy this charming cafe hidden in the CBD.

WOW! Best chicken, avocado and camembert toastie ever. Asked if I could remove cranberries and add avo instead no issues. Staff were pleasant.
