I had requested white rice with both dinners, but there was no gravy on the rice for either dish. I admit I forgot to ask for gravy, and I suggest that in the future, you might consider asking customers if they'd like gravy over their white rice. I don’t blame anyone for this oversight, as I could have requested it. However, I do think the cook should have reminded the server to check with me about it. Had the regular cook or owner been present, I likely wouldn’t be writing this review. I hope you take this feedback constructively.
I recently ordered from Spicy Hill for my Christmas Eve gathering, and it was my first time trying their food. Relying solely on reviews, I took the plunge, and I must say, the positive feedback was absolutely accurate. The flavors were a delightful symphony, each dish showcasing a perfect balance of spices. Spicy Hill surpassed my expectations. The food was fresh and piping hot. This experience has certainly made Spicy Hill my go-to choice for future gatherings. Highly recommended!
I was quite disappointed to see a 4% charge added to my bill for using a credit card, which was noted on the receipt but was not mentioned anywhere in the restaurant. I believe customers should be informed about this charge so they can choose to pay with cash if they prefer. This feels dishonest to me, and I won't be supporting this restaurant in the future.
Everything about this place is amazing, the food is authentic and taste beyond the words I can use to describe it, just know this I get food from there 2 to 3 times a week and that only because they're close when I get off work. Seriously, this food is so good, if it was me, I'll charge you at the door to enter the building, lol.

I make a special trip for their Mac n cheese. Unfortunately the last 3 times it hasn’t been good and today not only was it not Mac pie, it was burned and crispy. didn’t even fill half of the container.
Owners are fine people. Excellent service and food recommendations. Several can't miss dishes (jerk wings, plantains, oxtails, curry goat, ginger beer.
