Spilled Grain is an excellent model of what a craft brewery should be. With 16 beers on tap, including several award winners, they have something for everyone. They also offer non-alcoholic options, including their delicious SG Rootbeer. The upgraded patio features around 16 tables and a warm indoor taproom, complete with fire pits for a cozy atmosphere. Visitors can borrow games to enjoy inside as well. Both the brewery and patio are family and dog-friendly, making it an inviting space for all. The staff is fantastic and incredibly friendly, giving it a small-town charm while maintaining a vibrant presence.
Very good beer. But waaayyyyy too cold in the tap room. Everyone was sitting outside because the tap room was at like 65 degrees. Because of this, the tap room was empty, and all of the tables outside were full, so we were forced to sit inside. It was miserable in there.
Best beer in the area at the very least, if not statewide. Loved the atmosphere, the owners were pouring the beer, which was fun, and you can see they come from Annandale and love their community.
Flavor, atmosphere, and combination of staff make this a destination you have to visit! Pricing was very fair. It's worth the drive to Annandale!
