Square Cafe is a very authentic Korean dessert cafe located conveniently just outside of Strathfield train station. My friends and I ordered a small 'INJEOULMI BINGSU', perfect portion for 2-3 people. The flavour itself is great, with a nice mix of sweet and savoury (due to the nuts: almonds, cashews, peanuts). There's also a side of red beans and mochi. If you're looking for some insta-worthy desserts, then this would not be the best option. However, I'd happily revisit if I ever crave for Korean desserts! It's nice, but I do not think it's worth the $ 18 price. Had the injeolmi (bean rice flour) Bingsoo. It had a unique aroma, had a little cereal taste on it? Good structured ice chips. The service was good and a nice ambience with heating units in winter. I did not mind to try the other flavors.
My friends and I favorites Square for hanging !!! The atmost personality is great and love the music I recommend the Italian thick chocolate, just the right sweet with great taste of chocolate. I once had the peerpiece tea and it was too sweet for my taste.
We are big fans of Korean Bingsoo. Since then moved in Sydney, we tried all café and dessert-parentia, offering Bingsoo within 20 km near the CBD. This cafe has the best of all!
