I completely agree with Carla! Today, I went there to charge my car in the parking lot and decided to stop by Vons for a coffee. The staff member there was incredibly disrespectful and didn’t even acknowledge my presence when I greeted him with a “good morning.” I was taken aback by his attitude! I ended up ordering my coffee and left feeling quite disappointed. Many people come to this location in the early morning because of the charging station, and I hope that Starbucks or Vons can recognize that poor customer service can seriously hurt their business.
This Starbucks located inside Vons offers very poor customer service. Although their opening time is advertised as 5 AM, I often find that when I arrive around 7 AM, they seem like they’ve just started their day. One employee, who is there almost every morning, always appears unhappy and unfriendly. It’s not the kind of experience anyone wants to have at 7 AM, right before starting their day. I’d rather prepare my own, subpar coffee at work than pay $5 for a regular coffee here and be treated poorly. Thanks, but no thanks.
There is a young guy that works at this location whom is incredibly rude always in a bad mood and lacks 100% customer service skillshe wont even speak to customers just leaves the coffee when done without calling the person that ordered the itemhe should either be reprimanded or fired
This is one of the best Starbucks locations I've visited! The staff were incredibly friendly and my order was prepared quickly. The interior is quite spacious and impeccably clean. If you're in Hermosa Beach and looking for a Starbucks, this is definitely a great choice!

There’s a young guy that works there on morning shift. Lacks good costumer service, incredibly rude, so dry and it’s doesn’t hurt to smile once in while. I work across the street so I’m always there and not once have I seen that kid in a good mood.
I've given this location different go's just because I don't like to rate a place off of one experience. With that being said, the workers here seem to hate their jobs and it falls over into their customers. By far WORST Starbucks I've visited.
Such a great team at this vons Starbucks! They're all so polite and have a great sense of humor. Coffee is great too!
