You can now place your own order, and the system works smoothly. After that, you just grab your drink and wait for your made-to-order meal. The staff and food have always been excellent. I understand the new soda QR code system, but it could definitely use some improvement—it can be quite inconvenient. This isn't the Steak Shake I remember. They ask for a tip for the staff before you even get served. There was one guy in the kitchen who kindly brought me a couple of ketchup packets, so thank you for that! But honestly, here’s how it goes: you place your order at a kiosk, pick up your own food when they call your name or order number, and clean your own table. And they expect a tip? I’d rather give my money directly to the guy who helped me with the ketchup. (shaking my head)
This is the best Steak 'n Shake I've been to. I've never received the wrong order, and everything is always packed perfectly. The drive-thru can be a bit slow, but I appreciate that they take the time to prepare each order fresh—this may be due to them being understaffed since many people aren't looking for work these days. The small wait is definitely worth it. I make it a point to visit at least once a week.
We visited to enjoy a burger and some milkshakes. The quality remains excellent, but the portion sizes have slightly shrunk. That said, you can't go wrong with the milkshakes—they're crafted in the traditional manner with hand-dipped ice cream!

The burger was fantastic, but it was a little odd receiving a separate bag for the onion rings. However, the milkshake was extremely disappointing; it was so bad that I couldn't even finish it. I couldn't believe it came from Steak 'n Shake.
It felt a bit strange not having servers, and even though the restaurant wasn't busy, it took some time to get our burgers. However, they arrived hot and delicious, and the fries were great too. The food is still consistently fantastic!
**Kid-friendliness:** The kids' meals are excellent.
**Parking:** There's always plenty of parking available, even when the restaurant is full.
**Wheelchair accessibility:** It's very accessible for those in wheelchairs.
It could have been a 5-star experience if the person handling the orders had paid more attention to what they were giving to customers. Unfortunately, someone ended up taking my shake.

It was amazing, and I really enjoyed the chocolate shakes. The steak burgers are excellent too. You can't beat it, especially when you're traveling like I do!
It's a little on the salty side, but overall it's really good. I haven't had this food in years!
