Always a nice treat urself some steak n shake anytime that I possibly can. The fries ? are smaller than the average but they fire, add some cheese to the side for dunking the little fellers and can dunk ur steak burger in as well. They quit carrying the mushroom swiss but have plenty of other great yummy burgers. They also started putting the kiosk self ordering machines in most steak n shakes. So you have to order whatever you want from these machines now. Also I noticed my shakes got some color added in, and some funky tasting big round paper straws. My 3 shakes were , ? and ? throughout. Omg. The chili is absolutely horrible. As one reviewer mentioned …nothing like it suppose to taste and I have had a chemical like after taste for about 10mins. I originally wanted a double cheeseburger and they were out of lettuce, no sourdough bread, jalapeños, chipotle mayo. The fries were weak as hell. Had to get my shake remade multiple times because they either handed out to the wrong person or “dropped it”. Idk why it even opened back up. You would be better off sticking to home cooking or a lunch sandwich for lunch. Why waste your money on people who don’t even have integrity in the food they serve.
Only had one bad experience and that was the last time i went in... they gave me the wrong order.. and i waited to long for my shakes.. i started eating my food and when i got to the burger i seen it wasnt mines.. they made me a new burger and still got it wrong.. oh yeah i was still waiting on my shakes.. got the while was waiting i asked for some more fries cause of the wait on my shakes that i still didnt have yet.. the worker said ill see.. dont think she seen anything if you ask me.... oh yeah still waiting on my shakes.. it was really bad that i won't go back to that one anymore... going to Freddy's
I think I literally had the best burger from Steak n Shake that I've ever had in all of my years eating there! No I don't know anybody that works there family or friends. I even got the extra onions I always order this time ?. It was just....Awesome! Omg ????????. I will be back soon (Double steakburger w cheese, everything on it INCLUDING the lettuce tomato and relish, with Extra Onions I will be back soon ?????. I highly recommend it!

Food is always good. The line is a little too long at times. They sometimes don't adhere to the special requests. Most of the time it's fine, if it's no pickles or tomatoes because you can take them off yourself. However, if I ask for a Cherry Coke or cup of BBQ sauce on the side, I expect it to be there because I paid for it.
My total experience was good. The wait was reasonable, my food was hot and tasty. The order-taker was very professional and repeated my order back to me. At the pickup and pay window everyone was cordial. I have nothing to complain about. They demonstrated excellence.
I paid for a bigger size in my chili, but they all did not fill it up. next time I'll check my order before I go. everyone can fill it out or return my money. too? ll be nice to ask us what cracker. good food.
so happy that we still have a steak-n-shake. the staff is friendly and eating is good. We're going 25 minutes to go here. food: 5/5
