This classic Edwardian country house is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of a family-run hotel. The delicious food, charming decor, real fires, and friendly staff all add to the overall experience. During our dining experience (on Valentine's Day), some of the guests were regulars who appeared to be personal friends of the owner, who is always a reassuring presence.
The staff were brilliant. Catering for a group is so hard and it worked perfectly. Clearly the Dales is the best place in the world, and the Stone House just elevated it that bit more. Thank you. We stayed here recently for two nights on an organised Porsche car club trip and was perfect. Beautiful old hotel in lovely condition and loads of character. Room was super clean and well appointed, food was superb and service excellent. They were also lovely to our pet. We are going back next year Rooms: 5 Service: 5

We have visited this restaurant before, but this time we chose to dine there as we were close to Steppe Haughs Farmhouse. The service and food were outstanding. We hope to make it a regular stop whenever we are in the area. It's always enjoyable to relax in front of the open fire with our drinks.
