This was particularly disheartening as a Black customer, and I couldn’t help but feel that my money was not valued the same way. It’s truly shameful to witness intolerance from one minority group toward another.
The first time I visited, one of the Filipino staff members was quite abrasive. When I asked for my sandwich to be prepared in a specific way, she repeatedly said, "I’ll make it the way you like," but it was clear she was unwilling to accommodate my request. I made an effort to remain polite, but her insincerity was frustrating.
I returned yesterday, October 26, 2023, to check if they had soup, and once again, neither employee acknowledged my presence as they continued making sand...
We used to order here since its close to home. We were pleasantly surprised that the size of footlong got bigger!!!! I am satisfied with their bread- big, fresh and not the usual bread we get flat, small and sometimes not fresh and breaking to pieces...love the Italian Herbs and cheese bread! I am impress how Subway is leveling up and thriving in a post pandemic economy where most of the businesses' prices gets high and smaller portions... Subway levelling up and offering coupons is amazing. The one star I left off is probably a room for improvement... I ordered ham/ turkey with extra Bacon...it would have been probably better if the bacon was crispy...also, maybe Subway has to put out diffe...
I love Subway sandwiches and there was a time where I was craving for it for a week and went to this store to order my favorite sandwich(cheesesteak) and love watching the SA(Sandwich Artist) preparing it according to my ingredients specs. I'm also impressed that the SA was so generous with the ingredients (storeowners are not happy with this), maybe to entice you to give more tips. After spending too much money on this store I found out that thru Subway app you can avail a $2 off or a BOGO50%off. So I started using the app. Ordered BOGO50%off, picked up my order, arrived home, and voila!!!...there's less meat in my sandwich and it was the same SA who prepared my sandwich when I ordered in p...
The middle-late-aged Asian man working today at lunch had the WORST attitude. He was very impatient while making my sub, then failed to ask me what dressings I wanted when he was done with the veggies. He just started wrapping up my sub. When I asked him if I could have mayonnaise, oregano, and pepper, he paused as though very annoyed, looked at me with disgust, then asked me to step aside so he could help the person behind me in line. I couldn't believe it. I was originally going to get chips and drink, but I canceled that (once he came back) just to get out of there. I come here often on business trips; I'll not be coming back to this store.

As a first-time customer, I ordered a large meatball sandwich on herb bread, and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was soft, and I appreciated how attentive the male staff was in keeping the condiments fully stocked. They were very friendly, and they honored my Subway coupon. This is a great spot for lunch, especially because the inside is nicely air-conditioned, which is a relief in the hot temperatures of Martinez.
HORRIBLE ! They are not friendly, the tall young man that works there is rude, makes the sandwiches messy, puts the least amount of tops he can and they charge you for extra veggie's on a vegetarian sandwich ! Will never spend my money at this Subway again ! I would rather drive down to the next subway with better service. I hate stingy rude service, if i could give this subway a negative 5 i would !!
The good:Aaron. He's the best subway employee I've ever met. Always friendly. Gives great suggestions. He's a star.The veggies are always fresh.The supreme meats is my favorite. An Italian masterpiece. Get the MVP sauce and the shredded mozzarella. The bad: Tuna. I'm sad the old tuna is gone. It may not have been tuna and it was really unhealthy but I loved it. I can't eat it now. RIP tuna
I haven't been to Subway in awhile but wow! I am loving the new Italian menu. The meatball with mozzarella and pepperoni?!? Just try it! It's like pizza on a roll! My new fave! The service is amazing and fast! Friendly too! Happy this is so close to work and home!

i cannot talk about how much i love this location! the man who always helps me is making my food and conversating with me. i tend to leave him big tips because he is so sweet whenever i come in and my food is always amazing with the best service!
I wasn't a fan of Subway before, but I've ended up visiting this location four times in just two weeks.
