Two of us walked in, put our name on the list, and waited for about 10 minutes. During that time, no one even glanced our way, and there was no communication about whether the wait would be just a few minutes or up to 30 minutes. We were shocked that no one acknowledged us at all. Eventually, we decided to get up and leave. The restaurant was busy, which usually indicates good food, and I noticed two open tables, but still, we received no attention from the staff – it was quite odd for a small family-run establishment. After seeing other low reviews, it seems this lack of service is not uncommon. While the restaurant has received great feedback, our experience left us feeling unwelcome, and...

First time coming here and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by their food! I had people tell me different reviews of this place and I told myself the only way I can review this place is when I try it and I'm glad I did. The inside is small and looks like the previous restaurant. I would suggest coming in early since it's a small restaurant otherwise you will be waiting. The service was good and fast and the food was very delicious! I really liked the Filipino ube pancakes as they came out hot and very fluffy. I also like how they are not over priced compared to other places in like Martinez (I won't mention their name). I will definitely come back to try other things!

This place is an absolute gem in Pinole! The fact you can get authentic Filipino breakfast dishes here is awesome and really enriches the area. The coconut ube pancakes are the best pancakes I 've ever had!The service is real and the definition of a family owned restaurant. You get to talk and support real peopleIn the community, which is something rapidly fleeing in our society. It 's located in the old Alley Cafe , so sitting in there brings a ton of nostalgia. The booths are awesome, comfortable, and provide a nice amount of privacy for your dining experience. Also, they serve traditional American dishes and constantly have a rotating menu. Win win!

Tried this awesome spot out with my bestie. Service was very prompt friendly. They serve a great menu of mostly breakfast foods, many with Filipino flair. We both got the adobo breakfast bowl with a side of vinegar, longanisa toast. Everything was super delicious! The meat for the bowl was super crispy, thick and a generous portion. We had our bowls made with garlic fried rice and scrambled eggs. Super well seasoned, not at all like normal American breakfast spots (usually season-less). It also came with some pickles- love! Super yum is all I can say to describe the food. I can't wait to go back and try more! Book a table now

The food at this charming and cozy restaurant is outstanding. You’re going to love their Ube Pancakes! This is the ube flavor I’ve been seeking everywhere, and it’s a rare delight to find it here. I commend the restaurant for their incredibly delicious ube pancakes. I also ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was bursting with flavor—truly delicious! The service was excellent; our waitress was cheerful and friendly, which was a breath of fresh air. This has definitely become my new favorite breakfast spot, and I can’t wait to explore more items on the menu!

On a positive note, the staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant, although the space was small and parking took a bit of time. Interestingly, there was a large Christmas-themed stripper pole in the middle of the restaurant. As for parking, the place is small and has a parklet that occupies several parking spots. Because of this, it’s common to encounter a line after you manage to find parking. I would recommend walking or biking if you can.

We go regularly to Sue's Place for breakfast and occasionally for lunch. The food is consistently delicious, generous, and artfully plated! Sue has culinary training and it shows!. Her family helps out, and it is a friendly place where people chat with each other! C.

In my search for Filipino food outside of the daily city, I found this spot that was actually, really good! A nice little local spot, served a good selection of brunch options with so decent Filipino dishes. I'd try it again! Book a table now
