I always enjoy the food quality at this restaurant and I understand why they have received 5 stars. However, I was disappointed to find that even the Lamb Korma and Saag Paneer had a spicy oil in them, which I was hoping to avoid in some dishes. While I expect Tandoori Chicken to have a little kick, I prefer it at lunchtime rather than for a late dinner. Although I always love the Butter Chicken Masala, it also had a bit of spice to it. I do, however, always enjoy their breads and Kheer. I will return and be more cautious about my choices as some of the spicing was unexpected to me. As someone who is not used to spicy food, I may not have the best judgment.
I ordered the Chana Masala, Jeera Aloo, and Roti at this restaurant. The Chana Masala had a flavorful taste with a hint of spices, so if you prefer spicier dishes, I recommend getting the very spicy option. The Jeera Aloo also had strong spice flavors, but the potato itself had a strange taste that I didn't enjoy. It could be because of how the potatoes were prepared and cooked. The Roti was similar to other dairy-free Roti and was great for dipping. The dishes were not overly salty. The Roti is about the size of a Pita bread. Overall, my experience was average.
Excellent Indian food. Butter chicken with medium spiciness is our go to. What's great about Sugandh, is that they use dark meat instead of chicken breast (most places on the peninsula use chicken breast in my experience) in the butter chicken and believe me, it makes a difference. Spicy vegetable soup is fantastic and the mixed vegetable entree is super flavorful. Momas are really tasty too it's basically like a potsticker but with Indian flavors and definitely worth trying. Love this place.
I'm stuck at an overnight stay and took a quick over to millbrae to fix a request for Indian food. had the momo (pumplings) with a great diving sauce, aubergine/Kartoffato entree and spinach daal. the aubergine was perfectly spiced on the outside and medium and delicate inside. it was necessary to add happy cow for others who do not need to drive to the city for some great eating near the airport. I'll be back in a moment.

Arrested at an overnight stay and brought a quick over to Millbrae to fix a desire for Indian food. Had the Momo (pumplings) with a great diving sauce, Aubergine/Kartato-Entree and Spinat-Daal. The Aubergine was perfectly spiced on the outside and medium and delicate inside. It was necessary to add Happy Cow for others who do not need to drive to the city for some great food near the airport. I definitely come back.
I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but the app wouldn't let me. I tried the veggie coconut curry and aloo tikki dishes and had to stop myself from eating them all. The restaurant is conveniently located near SFO, which is why I decided to try it. It's probably a good thing it's not closer to my house, or I would eat there all the time. I updated my previous rating on March 10, 2022.
We have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and it has always been excellent. Our favorite dishes are the chicken korma and samosas. We often get a combination of naan with two curries and a biryani, which never disappoints. You can't go wrong with this choice.
Before going to the airport, my friend and I were searching for a place to have dinner. We found many vegan options and I decided to try the saag, which was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious authentic Indian cuisine! The Chicken Tikka Masala is outstanding and the portion sizes are generous.
The kebabs and tiki masala we've gotten here were great. The flavored rice was too strong for us.
