So many items to choose from! Came to pick up 1 thing but happily ended up with a few more -Caramel Cake: Fluffly not overly sweet. Perfect size for our party of 9. -Milo Dinosaur: Milo taste though through. Absolutely not watered down tasting. Good sugar high! Took a while to finish it so it was the perfect companion to a busy afternoon. And these last 2.. Man, I wish I could eat a slice of each everyday. I asked the nice man what else he recommended after I got the cake drink. Bless his heart for suggesting these 2.. It's the first time I actually liked a tart streusel (typically they're gonna be the last thing I'll look at on a menu). -Nutella Streusel -Chocolate Hazelnut Tart
In addition to their amazing cupcakes, they also offer a unique menu featuring Filipino-Italian fusion dishes. Be sure to place your order in advance, as their menu changes daily. Some of my favorites include the delicious empanadas, silogs, the iconic caramel cupcake, campfire tart, and cream puffs. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to try their other savory gourmet offerings since I live in LA, but Sugar Toof is definitely a stop we make every time we drive to San Francisco.
Have some mixed feelings about this place. Loved it when it was sunflower bakery. Went here for one thing and one thing only the Carmel cupcakes. No not the Carmel cake, the CUPCAKES my friends. Now the place is more modern, very cute, has some new items. Had them empanadas. The crust is buttery flakey delicious, a masterpiece in fact. The meat filling was not my thing and we tried both the chicken and beef. Anyway, I'll be back to try some of the other items.
The desserts were a nice treat. I ate them the day after I got them so the cream puff with the caramel sugar shell was no longer crunchy on the outside. The ube mamon was a bit dry. The ube tres leches cupcake was my favorite from the three. I would go back to try the other desserts. I would get the cream puff again but consume it right away so I can enjoy it while the outer shell still has a nice crunch.

I couldn't decide if I wanted a cake or cupcakes for my birthday, so last minute I called Sugar Toof and I spoke to Joe if they have Ube cake. Of course they didn't because you have to order it in advance. Joe suggested Ube tres leches and I'm glad he did. I've never had it before and I will tell you it was delicious, you can really taste the ube. I will definitely order it again!
Fantastic! Oh my goodness, your oatmeal cherry cookie is incredible! I bought one to eat in the car, and I was so hungry that I turned right around to get more! I absolutely love your coconut tarts; they’re delightfully flaky. I’ve definitely found my new favorite bakery! Now I just need to hit the gym more often so I can keep indulging! Five stars for the buko pie and the service. The owners and staff care about the quality of their products and they are very sincere about it. I have to try more items but for now I am stuck on the buko pie. I highly recommend that we should all support local businesses like Sugar Toof.
Top 3 favorites: 1. Chocolate crinkles highly addictive; try at your own risk. 2. Creampuffs specifically the caramel crunch topped 3. Buko pie yaaasssss!! Do not be disappointed if your treats are missing cause you didn't hide them well enough. Family and friends will eat them.

The halo halo with ube ice cream is delicious, and the pork shumai is really good too! The crinkle cookies are fantastic, and the caramel cakes are still on the menu. You can also get cupcakes here!
I love this place. Quality food. Good service. A bit pricey on some items though. But i wish they make MALASADAS! Hopefully
