This used to be a dive bar, so the ambiance leaves a little to be desired. The food and service however, make up for it. The menu is limited, but that is a good thing, as what they do serve is very well done. I particularly liked the cole slaw, which many establishments get wrong. I had crab stuffed haddock and took half of it home, as the portions are large. They are open Thursday through Saturday so reservations are strongly recommended. Nothing fancy, but tasty.
Absolutely love this place! Stopped on on a whim and was blown away by the warm greeting of the hosts Vicki. The bar tender Nicole was super sweet and friendly. Then, the food. OH. MY. GOD. The flavors were amazing and the coleslaw was spectacular. Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to going again! Heard a lot of good things about the owner. Absolutely LOVED everything. Really delicious food, service was super accommodating and friendly and very reasonable prices. We were at a local hotel visiting for the Bloomsburg Fair and it was our first visit but we will definitely be back and make this a stop on our annual visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I ordered the brisket dinner. The fries and coleslaw were good, but the brisket lacked any smoke flavor and was chopped in a way that made it resemble pulled pork, almost like a pot roast. I understand why they prepared it this way, as the meat was chewy and tough. Book a table now
This cozy little restaurant by the river is a hidden gem. The fresh food is both delicious and reasonably priced. Please note that they only accept cash, but there's an ATM nearby. The owners are warm and friendly, making your dining experience even more enjoyable.
The food is absolutely so delicious, everyone is very friendly. I guarantee you will ask for a box to take food home. We will definitely go backKid-friendliness: People brought their children in they have a nice selection of food for children
Excellent smoked brisket and pork barbecue. The fresh cut fries were outstanding. The place has been freshly renovated on the inside and the ambiance was very nice, not to mention great service. A return visit is in our future!
The food was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere was enjoyable. However, our waitress Vicky was not particularly friendly. If we had received better service, this could have easily been a five-star experience. Book a table now
