Suwan Thai - Table reservation

This little restaurant at the back of an arcade in Salamanca Place was a pleasant surprise. The serves were generous and came in metal bowls sitting on candle light heaters that kept the food just right. The food was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals but my curry could have been hotter. The waiting staff were very attentive and quick to respond to our requests. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart and wanting to get away from the noisey pub scene.

This restaurant is a bit hidden at the back of a small mall, but was well worth a visit. Upon arrival the decor looked a bit shabby, but we were welcomed by friendly staff and the food was really nice As vegetarians, we enjoyed a wide choice of dishes and were not disappointed when they were served. The massaman curry was tasty and light and the pad thai was fresh and not over-sweet or gloopy, as they often can be Another plus point it was BYO wine.

a selection of dresses that were beautifully presented but were hardly suitable for taste rather blande, especially compared to other Thai restaurants where we have gedimt in recent years. atmosphere and ambiente was pleasant, but the heaters used were much too hot and they approached them sweating. will look for another restaurant when we feel like thai.

Nice food and friendly staff, my Thai friend took me to hate to try Thai food, and it was over the moon. We try red carry chicken, pahad Thai. It was 10/10. And my friend said the taste is similar in Thailand.

Super friendly staff Delicious food and reasonable value Seafood dish had fresh seafood not frozen like some places BYO available. $7 bottle corkage
