If you want to eat a meal like you in a factory conveyor belt, then over for weekend buffet. In the past, you had the option to order something other than water not when I went last (Feb 2024). And it was worse than that ... The only time someone came to our table was to drop off, or pick up, the check. I thought it was weird, so I looked around. No other table had any drink other than water. This was about 8 other tables in the first room by the entrance. I could not see the back room. So it appears like this is a decision, not a fluke. Lastly, the bill came to the table with a processing fee already added. Reminder that no one talked to us at all, so they have no idea how we plan on paying...
The portion sizes are quite small. I asked the server how many ounces of meat were included, and he said 16 ounces, but I seriously doubt that. Additionally, be cautious when it comes to the bill payment. The server added a hidden charge of $3 to the total. He automatically included an 18% tip and added another $3 on top of that, assuming we would pay by card. However, since we were paying in cash, I inquired about it, and he removed the extra charge. I definitely won’t be returning. The lamb curry portion was too small, and I just can't recommend this place.
BEST RESTAURANT EVER!!! I had an incredible fine dining experience with amazing flavors at this place. If you’re passing through Madison on a road trip and craving delicious Indian food, this is definitely the top spot to try. We stopped here after trekking at Devils Lake Park and ordered Paneer Kadhai, Malai Kofta, and Butter Naan. Everything tasted incredibly authentic and fresh. Our food arrived quickly and piping hot. If you love tea, I highly recommend trying it there—it’s fantastic!
Our food experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The saag paneer and garlic naan were great choices, but our enjoyable meals were overshadowed by the tandoori chicken, which was truly disappointing. The pieces we received were greasy, difficult to chew, and not worth even a second bite. We ended up leaving most of the chicken untouched and were left with stomachaches.
