I went to Tappan Sushi with my husband for lunch who is from Uruguay. He was not into korean, japanese type food but that changed it all when we first came here. I am korean and i need to have my korean food and japanese sushi, sashimi!!!Always great food and service is great. This is our 5th or 6th visit. There are 2 very attentive and friendly waitresses and they are always working. Super great people. Also the sushi chef, the same sushi chef when i go there always greets us when we come in. That is how it should be, greeting customers in a friendly manner. One big thumbs up, the food comes right away, that is the way all restaurants should be. Plus, extremely fresh fish and all the foods...
My family really enjoys dining on sashimi at this Korean restaurant. We've had some stomach problems after visiting other sashimi spots in Fort Lee, but this place serves very fresh and high-quality fish. While they don't offer as many side dishes as other Korean sashimi restaurants, the portion sizes are just right to fill us up. Their LA kalbi is also a hit with the kids. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I've been visiting this restaurant for a long time, and what I value most is the consistent quality of their food. I've tried other sushi places in the area, but I always find myself returning here. The ample parking is also a great advantage. The female staff members are incredibly friendly and always willing to help.
On another note, I noticed that prices have increased by 20%, so it's a good idea to call ahead to confirm prices and place orders. This platter cost me $200, but since I recently moved to an area without any fresh sashimi options, I was more than happy to treat myself to this platter.

My sister brought me here, it’s her favorite spot and I can see why. The fish is fresh and for the amount of food you get for the combo, it’s a great deal. The staff was also so sweet and listened to any allergies we told her about.
