Even though we ordered carry out, I was pretty impressed with the restaurant. Walking in and seeing everyone having a good time and the staff well organized with a sense of harmony all around made me realize that I have to come back for that dining experience. After ordering 4 tacos al pastor, I was completely happy with my choice and my wife was very happy with her torta de milanesa de pollo or chicken milanesa torta.Taquería Los Charros is a good place to visit.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. If I could give 5 stars I would. The food is top tier and the margarita towers can be dangerous, but in a great way. We travel 30 minutes to come here and almost everyone wants to go here for their birthday dinner. We even brought our family from Italy to eat dinner during the summer and they are still talking about great their meal was. Amazing customer service. They always go above and beyond.
Overall experience extremely bad. Wasn’t really greeted by anyone after having a sign that says wait to be seated. Finally someone decided to acknowledge me and I was taken to the back of the building, and seated at a table near none of the rest of the customers… felt very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend to dine in. Maybe carry outs better service

The BEST authentic Mexican place in all of metro detroit. It really doesn’t get better than the signature tacos and a frozen margarita. I’ve been in quite a few times and service is always great. The food is always great, and everything on the menu is great.
The chorizo botana was absolutely fantastic! It was definitely enough for two or three people. The guacamole was also delicious and very fresh!
I've visited several times and even had them cater my son's graduation party. They always exceed my expectations!
