Weâve been Tellers fans for many years and we were looking forward to a post covid bday celebration. Menu has changed (which is normal, I get) but classic items taken off was a bit disappointing. Other menu changes- the prices! Donât get me wrong, I am happy to pay for the quality Tellers is known for, but my goodness, min entree Presentation was severely lacking, skirt steak came out and was sitting in a puddle of juice. No garnish, nothing. It was ok, def not worth the price. My daughter asked for some crispy onions on top of her steak, no prob. It cost an extra on the bill She wanted a seltzer, they upcharged her for club soda for (the tiny bottle), after a mini Coca Cola. What exactl...
service was excellent. fried calamari was meaningless. it looked out and tasted as if it came from a box from the restaurant depot freezer. there were only rings and not a body of the inkfish. lobster bisque used to have lobster pieces. there was zero. no short amount, but zero. no reason to order it. the keilsalat was the size he used to be. porterhouse for was amazing, tasty and cooked perfect. the kartoffels were perfect. coffee was also five stars. music was recommended by (saturday in the main dining room they order meat and kartoffels, cut them bill in half, and enjoy an amazing meal with experienced servers.
Love this place for nice dinner. Our waiter, Chris, was a true professional: knew the menu, made excellent wine and cocktail recommendations, was attentive without hovering, and friendly without seeming false. I love the vibe in the building--it's an old bank building with huge windows and a vault in the back. The food is class steak house fare, and it is all excellent. The scalloped potatoes are a must!
I donât mind paying market price for a prime steak ala carte . Service was great, Jessica did a great job upstairs but to charge five dollars for bread basket I thought it was a bit to muchâ¦come onâ¦.. seriously? Book a table now
As always , outstanding! Only suggestion: When a speech is being made; no dish removal or set ups should be performed. Very distracting. All I have to offer regarding. Team needs to â read the tableâ. Thank you.
