restaurant near empty (3 couples) ordered quickly, but my partner eat comes out and 15-20 minutes later no sign of my food (i.e. other tables all served). it does not click on the waiter when I asked how much longer, he goes to check and finds out that they never cooked. I have broken off the order as they did not begin to make it, I have mentioned that it would have been nice that 15 minutes ago, as now my partner eating is cold. he said I'm sorry, shrug his shoulders and went away. spoke with another lady paying and again the indifference of a customer who had a bad experience was amazing. totally dismissed and not interested, just wanted to pay the money. What has happened ? Beautiful food but such small amount! We have eaten here before and this time food served on small dinner plates. Seemed smaller servings ,Probably smallest curry in a Thai I have ever been served , I came home hungry and Iam not a big eater . Nice little place , nice staff and easy to park .
This is a great takeaway or dine in Thai restaurant. I especially love the satay chicken and chilli chicken. I recommend it if you like Thai and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is always on time and the service is polite and suitable for family occasions.
This restaurant is consistently great. It's large and can get a bit noisy on weekends due to it's popularity. Quality food at reasonable prices with friendly staff. Easy parking with a council carport within 5 mins walking. Highly recommended.

Really awesome local restaurant to have.Generous portions to well priced food.The byo option makes it a really good alternative to having to do a large dinner with people in your own house.Keep up the good work team!
Hard to say it is the best Thai in Caringbah but i wouldn't argue with anyone who says that it is. Food is always good (this is visit no. 5 or 6) and have never had a bad course. View is good if you score...More
I go for the sensational food but stay for the friendly and helpful staff. If only there was a Thai restaurant like this where I live. Already looking forward to my next visit :-)
I have been to Thai Bay a number of times and has always been consistently high standard of food. Service is friendly. Family occasions are well catered for.
