Travelled to Sydney solo and was surprised on how expensive the food was. Fortunately, I found this Thai resto near where I stayed. Price is reasonable, one serving is like good for 2 or 3 people. Since I was alone, i was able to stretch that for three meals lol. Food was okay, could be better, but would still recommend it.
- The starters are nice- Fried rice are served in good portions and taste is good too.- Not many staff and hence servicing times are longer during peak hours- Cash only option and hence new comers may hesitate to come back again.- Curry puffs are the best starters there.- Excellent for couples
For the price, the dishes here are good. It seems to be a popular place for workers as they have a lunch specials for $8.90 so it can get full. I ordered the seafood pad Se ew for $13 and it was good. The seafood had a good variety (fish,squid, prawns)
Basic but decent little restaurant near train station in Ashfield. Eaten here many times as well as home delivery. Reasonable prices though cash only. Wholesome fresh veggies and cooking. Dishes can vary from very good to just okay. Lunch specials. Book a table now
In Sydney with it's myriad Thai restaurants this little known gem in Ashfield gets by by focusing on delicious food without too many frills. Try the Panang curries and the fried rices. But anything I tried was yum yum yum.
Great tasting meals, has an indoor dining area next to the kitchen and there is a back area where its lovely to sit on a warm day. They did get my order wrong once but it was still fine. Recommend the Panang Curry Chicken
I'm a fan of good Thai food unfortunately this is not in that standard. Taste was OK needs to improve a lot to be authentic. Service is good and ambience is nice. Price is affordable and close to the station.
