I called this morning to reserve a last-minute table for lunch as a (very) belated Mother's Day gift. The restaurant accommodated me right away, and I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff. We were treated to appetizers and dessert, and we left completely stuffed! The food was not only delicious but also came in generous portion sizes. I believe this is the fastest service I have ever experienced! Our meals arrived almost immediately after we ordered. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but it was definitely worth every penny!
At first I was a little concerned that service was slow but it’s because the quality if food is exceptional and I rarely use that word when describing food! The food is clearly cooked fresh and arrives piping hot! I had the hunters chicken, my partner the cajun chicken wrap, both chickens were juicy and cooked right, perfect amount of salad accompaniment as well and I upgraded to the sweet potato fries and they were great. Will visit again as the setting by the lakeside is lovely!
I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. Both the food and the staff were outstanding. The presentation was impressive, and the portion sizes were more than satisfactory. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot, which is essential for great value. The quality and quantity of the food exceeded the price we paid. Lydia, who reviewed the menu before ordering, mentioned that the portions were generous. I would highly recommend this lovely pub to everyone!
on December 23rd we went to a birthday meal. the workers were brilliant, so helpful and knew everything about our food allergies. eating was breathtaking, the best I had in the old. thanks for a great night.

I visited for the first time yesterday, and the food, atmosphere, and pub itself were fantastic. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it to everyone. I look forward to going back!

First time visiting yesterday highly recommend beautiful place nice view inside the pub very nice and clean and staff very friendly good service. We will come back soon x
Lovely beer garden and views of the ponds, surpurb food great service. If you have not already been a visit highly is recommend. It gets very busy so book in advance.
