I came to the Fishpool house on Saturday with some friends and sat on the bar before we sat on our table. eating was nice and the service was amazing. but there was only one girl behind the bar with short white. hair, that was really rude and made what would have been an otherwise perfect experience. during our time in the bar we heard them complaining, they talk to other workers and saw them roll their eyes and pull faces at several places. this behavior was unprofessional and as I say, they let off what else would have been an absolutely wonderful eating with friends. the food tasted amazing and came out very quickly.
this is a very nice pub, its layout and the size of a chain pub, but that could not be further from the truth. the pub has an up market feeling with many intelligently dressed servers and excellent food to boot. it is a tad more. expensive and the portions are not massive, but overall the quality is excellent. many rooms and a beautiful beer garden, I think it would be advisable to book.

Beautiful meal here with our daughter,son in law ,and grandson food was excellent,service the same .Highly recommended.
