Whilst the local is good for weekday or evening meals.. the last two times we’ve been for Sunday lunch have been disappointing.. the first time we ordered roast beef.. but couldn’t eat it as it couldn’t be cut so lunch was refunded but not just for us but a whole host of other customers.. this time there was NO beef or gammon so 2 out of the 3 choices not available at a 2pm sitting! So not impressed. I ordered roast chicken breast and got what looked like the fillet from the breast so had to ask for more chicken! Great family venue for food. as a family we went to this venue in Bexley on a gorgeous sunny weekend. We sat out in the garden without any issues of any dogs running round or any issues of loud people. It was peaceful, relaxing and very enjoyable. All the staff, very friendly, smiling and happy, made the atmosphere perfect. It was a Sunday so, of course we had the roast dinner and the whole family even a child had a smaller portion and it was perfect. I even noticed they did a roast dinner for the dogs what are unique idea. Just like to say well done to the team. There will definitely be back again next time you’re in the area.
This pub used to serve great food, but the last time we went it was awful. The portions were very small, the beef burger we ordered was simply a bun and one of those thin beef burgers you get at a school canteen, the southern fried chicken in the two other burgers ordered were so small and thin it basically constituted just breading and no chicken. There was nothing else to the burgers, no lettuce or anything. Just meat and a bun and a few Chips. Definitely not worth £50 with non alcoholic drinks. Will not be going back
Today, I hosted my daughter's baby shower at this restaurant and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere as a perfect 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Southern Fried Chicken Platter, Chicken Sandwich, and Chips. There is plenty of parking available, including free parking options.

I have been here a few times and want to say how good it is. Staff are attentive and look after you. Although I have not had food this time (yet), it looks amazing and no complaints from anyone. From ast experience of the food, it is amazing. Great place for the family and friends. Dog friendly as well.
We visited this Sunday. And can’t express how amazing the Sunday roast was. This is My 6 year old favourite place for a roast! The Yorkshire pudding are beautiful. The service is the best. They do get busy but understandably beocuse how nice the environment is. Will definitely be returning!
Come one day for lunch it was beautiful decided to bring more family for dinner absolutely terrible service ,food Service had to eat meal separate as order was taken incorrectly and Had to wait 30 minutes for the other food to come up
Went for a quick bite to eat and had 3 small plates of food, I must say these were delicious and quite filling, we thoroughly enjoyed them. On a separate note the place is spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit we will be back
