I attend this pub a minimum of once a month with my father to catch up and enjoy a few drinks and atmosphere. Been doing this since the place opened. Will not be going back after today due to the poor Qaulity door staff and policy 's being made up on the fly. I booked a table one week in advance as I usually do and when I arrived as I went to walk in a young man maybe 18 stood in front of me and told me to not dare walk past him he had in plain cloths and nothing identifying him as a doorman such as an sia badge(turned out had it on his waiste under his coat deliberately obscured) he efused me entry as I had on jogging bottoms. Food was brilliant, drinks were lovely, but the icing on top of this cake was our server Alex who was incredibly down to earth and funny, he was an absolute delight and made our day. I wish i could meet the man’s parents to congratulate them on raising such a wonderful person with great manners and a brilliant sense of humour. He put up with our pish and I hope he has success in his degree.
I always book this bar for our regular old pals to catch up as one of the few places you can book for 12 people. We are a bit older than normal clientele but the booking is easy. The staff are welcoming and has a great selection of drinks. For the city centre prices are also reasonable.
We visited here for the boozy brunch were not disappointed. Alexander our server was fantastic could not have done any more for us, very attentive friendly. Amazing value for money, I had the pizza it was delicious. Will 100% be back for this again.

Terrible service the menu is limited enough however they “ran out of pizza bases” at 13:00 on a Saturday afternoon severely disappointed wont be back
