I had luck eating twice in moor hall so my expectations of the barn were high, we were not disappointed! at the arrival the area looks absolutely stunning all illuminated. the restaurant on the top floor sprudeled with a really nice atmosphere, we were led to bar for a drink, then quickly sitting on our table. we went for the festive menu, which was beautiful and very good value for money, which was eating well cooked and very well presented and the side of the carlotte kartoffels was divine! and the cheese mmm my daughter who arrived in the time for dessert was no problem, and a chair was quickly found and a teller cheese came without problems. the pianist in the background added the atmosp...
My experience at The Barn for Sunday lunch was so enjoyable that when I received an email announcing Christmas Day bookings were available, I immediately made a reservation. While the prices were not cheap, the experience was absolutely amazing. The only small suggestion I have is that I noticed on New Year's Eve diners were given a glass of fizz upon arrival, which I think would have been a nice touch for the Christmas Day meal as well. Overall, this was the best Christmas lunch I've ever had. The staff were all fantastic, and each dish was exceptional. I give this restaurant a five-star rating. Thank you to the staff for making our day so special; it was truly appreciated.
that is a beautiful restaurant. I have had the pleasure of dining here twice as it was opened and at both places it was a brilliant experience. the restaurant itself is simply stunning, it has the wow factor as soon as they go through the doors. the staff is very attentive and friendly. eating is something else, absolutely delicious and the wine is also quite good! the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and john on the piano makes a great task to offer the music in the background, he even makes desire. we'll be back.
for the first time in the barn in the moor hall with our school class of sandfield park school, a school for students with impediments. amazing experience, beautiful environment, exquisite eating and so friendly, professional staff who were all so attentive to our students. it was a wonderful culinary experience and I would recommend for a special occasion. I will definitely be back to try more of the delicious food. sue barry.

It’s just what you’d expect, excellent value for money ,very good service in a unique setting with absolutely fantastic food . Enjoyed by our party of 5 from nibbles to charcuterie to aged steak and a vegetarian offering which I’m told was exceptional , next time we must leave room for at least a pudding to share . Highly recommend.
what a fabulous place! a very impressive entrance to the moor hall and the interieur were not disappointed! the menu is excellent and very valuable for money. attentive staff and beautiful ambiente. would definitely recommend and I will certainly go back! never recognized black pudding and scotch eggs could be so elegant!
Absolutely magnificent dinner for two. The turbot was the best main course my husband has ever had and the Christmas pudding ice-cream dessert was the best pud I have ever eaten, Ever! Our third visit this year and we will be back in 2024. Thank you to all the team
Went for lunch today it was amazing! The food was perfect, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, and the setting was beautiful. Such value for money too. Can’t wait to go back and try more delicious food! Wish I could give more than five stars!
