I?m so disappointed. This was my favorite corn beef spot. I know prices have increased but this sandwich was $12.50 they considered this regular size. The price is extremely high for such a small sandwich. You used to get a decent sandwich for that price and was so large you could share. I know it doesn?t matter but I?m not going back. My wife and I have driven by The Bread Basket multiple times and both commented to each other how much we 'd like to try it. I am always looking for quality food in a world full of quick fast junk food. Today we had the chance to try it. I got the reuben and holy wah! was it big. Known for a classic deli sand-which that is hard to beat. The staff is always friendly and really gives that home town deli feel. This place is famous for its corn beef but unlike other places, that seem to get by on hype or social media influencers post, this place is delicious and has been good for decades and will be good for decades more. You’re coming here for quality ingredients and you pay for them. A couple sandwiches, a couple drinks and a side hit $30 but it was worth it. Best Reuben I ever had in my life the corned beef and sauerkraut were so good and fresh, the swiss cheese was melted, bread very delicious. Tried matzo ball soup for the first time and loved it, the corned beef egg rolls were excellent and the service was amazing very friendly, only waited about 5 minutes for my food. Definitely will be back??
Thank you. The best Corned Beef sandwiches round. Corned Beef is juicy and full of taste! Love the 17 1/2 and Rueben Sandwiches. Homemade desserts are the icing on the cake! Well worth the price tag. You can only find a delicacy that fits high quality with huge sandwiches, as the bread basket does.
I've been here for decades. I was on the other day order my usual 17 1/2 n it was terrible.. the Cornbeef was not the same n the Koleslaw was terrible.. I think the real owner sold the place. I guess I'm done here.
Great inside but the outside was almost burnt both times, maybe needed a grease change or to be pulled a few mins earlier. Still was really good egg rolls.
