Steak Fritas.. Disappointing. Basically a large bowl full of very oily chips...with a steak on top. Any peppercorn sauce is lost in the bowl... Not great. Our server was lovely and very apologetic. Food and ambience didn't match expectations based on prev reviews.
we really enjoyed our evening in the castle. the staff was very friendly and we felt safe with a drink and eating. the food was delicious, we both went for burger and they were very full. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Upon arriving at The Castle, we discovered that our reservation had not been honored and that they were no longer serving meals, offering only a few Tapas options. This left us scrambling to find a meal on a Friday evening.

eating was in order, service was good, location was good as near shops, but when we were there we were down without windows, so could have been anywhere. good place to eat when shopping
cheaper alcohol. amazing cocktails. must visit when close to the castle. the quality of food is good, although the taste is normal. portioned enough to fill it. good place to meet.
Arrived at the restaurant to find that the kitchen was closed and had been for a while. This was extremely disappointing, as we had not made a reservation elsewhere.
We love The Castle. The food is always good, the portion sizes generous and the service friendly and attentive without being obtrusive.
