We picked up Cocinita burgers, fries, cauliflower “meat” appetizer and a double protein shake from The Cocinita to eat in the car (our favorite) en route to the middle Keys this weekend. Touch screen order scenario at the restaurant, our order was finished in a short time. The burgers were suitable for hungry vegans, the cauliflower meat left a lot to be desired (especially for the pricetag) and the $18 espresso double-protein shake I would not otherwise purchase if I weren’t on holiday removed from my own blender/daily protein supplements. Vegan restaurants on my reviews always get 5/5 stars by plant-based virtue, but the bang you get for your buck at the Cocinita is probably 2/5.Vegetarian...
Absolutely outstanding! I’m new to Miami, and my wife, who is also vegan, highly recommended this restaurant to me. WOW!!! The flavors are phenomenal! This is probably the best vegan burger I have ever tasted—no, it definitely is the best! You have to come and try their food. I was fortunate to be greeted by the owner! I didn’t realize who he was until we were leaving, and my wife informed me. What an honor it was to see the owner working right alongside his team—such a rare sight! His energy matched the incredible food! I will definitely be returning, and I hope to see him again!
The food is super greasy over there, as vegan I can tell the food isn't healthy but tasty yes because it's full of grease and vegetable oils, the cleanliness is a big issue in that place, also the strong smell outside of the restaurant says it all. And when you complain the owner ironically thinks we are wrong and he is ok selling low quality fake meat like Beyond Meat which is done with generic modified ingredients better to eat real meat than artificial meat done with those ingredients
The Cocinita is the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to in Miami. Their Venezuelan vegan food transports me straight back to Venezuela and brings back beautiful memories. Everything is delicious, they’re in a great location, and the service is amazing. 100% recommended. This vegan spot is so cute and the food staff are great! They are so friendly courteous. The good comes out hot, fresh, fast. All the staff smile, check in on you and make sure you are happy. Try them out. They have plenty of options for us vegans. You will enjoy it.Parking: Parking garage right across from it with plenty of parking. When I sent it was a flat rate charge of $20
Service was extremely attentive and caring! As a non vegan I was very impressed by their guaca burger. The patty is made in house from pea protein same with the cheese it was moist and still gluttoness. The alfalfa sprouts added a nice brightness to the burger as well.Another cool perk are the vegetables and herbs they have growing both inside/outdoors. Price was also fair. ?
The staff was fantastic and welcoming! My order was ready for pickup right on time and everything was delicious! I tried the burrito, Mexican burger, and kale Caesar salad, and the portion sizes were generous! It’s an excellent value overall. Plus, it’s fully vegan, which is great for anyone with dietary restrictions!
This casual vegetarian spot offers exceptional service and is a true hidden gem for veggie lovers. Their plant-based burger, fries, and milkshake are all delicious. If you’re in downtown or Brickell, it's definitely worth a visit. Be sure to try the Mr. Milantro or the Yummy!
