The Colorado Brewery is an amazing place with a rich family history. The owners made the bold decision to turn their family farm in the San Luis Valley into a fantastic brewery. Their beer selection includes stouts, IPAs, farmhouse ales, and more. The brewery has recently expanded, adding a beautiful beer garden with plenty of seating and a playground for children. In the colder months, they have individual fireplaces and overhead heating to keep guests warm. The view of the mountains is breathtaking during the day, and the sunset creates a stunning atmosphere. Make sure to visit on Thursdays to see what's on tap.
We found this place upon the recommendation by a camp store worker at Great Sand Dunes NP. We were amazed at the beer selection and of course the friendly service! We were early and talked with one of the owners and he brought us two free beers which I was not aware of until I went to pay — on the house we were told. The bar was certainly a happening place and there were families and single folks all having a great time! The food truck was awesome and we had a wonderful evening out. Thanks!
Amazing atmosphere! Family friendly, dog friendly, and a beautiful mountain backdrop. They also had local street tacos and elote, which were both delicious, along with the pineapple beer! The people were also very friendly and provided information about the area. We stopped by on a road trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, and are so glad we did! Hope to come back someday!
what a great place for drinks and eating! a beautiful location under the farm fields with plenty of seating and fresh air! we came here two evenings and enjoyed the variety of bier sails. the food truck colorado grille was there both nights and their burgers and sweet potatoes are great! beautiful people, good food and fresh air, what could we want more? music, yes, they had! An olfactory feast, this place. If you're anywhere near as satisfied by pastoral surrounds, harvest season smells, and down-home-friendly hosts as I am after a flight here, you'll want to come back as much as I do! Buying bottles of their Farm Amber, Wheatverly, and an imperial [something so delicious I forgot] was very much the move
I visited the coolest brewery recently. The owners were fantastic, the beer was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. I spent hours chatting with funny people around a fire pit, and the experience had many layers of enjoyment. If I return to Colorado, this brewery will definitely be a must-visit spot for me.
Party of 5 and immediately found a table and broke out board games. We had amazing drinks and multiple flights to sample everything. Amazing environment a great band and the colorado grille food was incredible.

A little out of the way, but it is a hidden gem worth stopping by for. Excellent beers on tap. And the views are amazing from the patio. Definitely recommend checking out.
