While on vacation in Door County, particularly Fish Creek, we had many meals at The Cookery. Everything we ate for breakfast dinner was excellent. Our daughter-in-law loved the white fish chowder so much she bought a pint to eat on the way back to MN she ate it all! Our granddaughter loved the cheery pie, she had it at least 4 times bought cherries to take home so grandma could make her another pie. The quality of food was excellent. You can tell they take pride in everything they make. We had a group of 12 a couple of times the service was always fantastic everyone was very pleased with their orders. You don't want to miss eating here while in Door County!
The Cookery in Door County is always an excellent choice. We have been to The Cookery several times for breakfast, and we have always been very satisfied. The staff has been fast, friendly, and cheerful, and the food is very tasty (I especially recommend trying the cinnamon buns or one of their wonderful omelettes). If you are looking for a great breakfast menu, I highly recommend stopping here.
EXCELLENT food! We first discovered this place several years ago when we couldn't get into a fish boil, and since then, it has become our go-to spot whenever we're in Door County. The whitefish chowder is absolutely amazing, and we've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. The cherry iced tea is the best soft drink I've ever had. I often take treats home with me as well.
Enjoyed their happy hour prices and music (a local group of ukulele players). Great fried cheese curds-enough for three (or four). Excellent happy hour prices. Stayed for an early dinner, but really too full to enjoy. Still: the white fish chowder was delicious, even if I had to keave half of it.

Excellent spot in Fish Creek. Been coming here for 30 years when in the old building while working for my Aunt at Fish Creek Clothier in Founder's Square. My favorite is still the Standard cheeseburger. The best. Their cherry margaritas are great too. Great atmosphere, service and food!
I just have to say, I absolutely loved this place! The food perfectly matched my taste, and they nailed it! The fish tacos were among the best I’ve ever had, and I'm a big fan of fish.
Really good lunch quick service. We sat outside while it was raining and it was still perfect. I'd deinately recommend the BLT, fish tacos, cherry crisp chocolate cake!!
Wow! The food was incredible. I had the turkey cream cheese sandwich with pickled jalapeños. It may sound like an unusual combination, but it was outstanding!
