The atmosphere and service within this place was fantastic, and clearly had a lot of thought and energy put into it. At no time did we feel like this was a cheap or nasty place to eat, and the entree of bread that we had really helped like kings.We shared both a seafood and a pepperoni pizza. Saturday late lunch. How hard is it to get crisp, hot chips and a burger that isn't soggy on the bottom and a Caesar salad that had the smallest bits of fatty bacon I've seen (2)When this place opened the food was good and it seems to have gone down hill ever since. If you've seen what I have written in the past I try not to bag a place as I know how hard it is to put food on a plate and please people but sometimes they need to know. We went on a Friday night and the place was bustling. We were met by a lovely girl on the door who despite the bustle find time to direct us to the pubs wine bar. Glad she did we had an amazing experience. The food and wine was exceptional, we asked for recommendations from the staff as the menu as well as pizza's etc had some really interesting choices. A lovely french waitress helped us with our order and really chose well. Words of warning: Don't go! Me and my partner were thinking of having a wonderful night out and great food after a hectic day, but what a disappointment! WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE to walked into the place. When we sat and ordered antipasti and 2 beers to start with; fyi the stuffs were not friendly as we expected and weren't helpful. Cut story short, the antipasti came in 2 small plate which costed $40 - unbelievable! 2 beers, 2 meals, 1 antipasti plus 1 small bowl of fries costed us $130.34. You may as well go to other places nearby.
So deceiving from the outside this establishment is huge and beautiful. With heaps of casual dining and drinking areas inside, as well as a great balcony and more formal dining room. I had the minute steak and it was top notch.
