Enjoyed some early evening drinks with friends on a warm August night. The restaurant offers a nice selection of ales and lagers to cater to different tastes, with friendly and attentive staff. The outdoor beer garden terrace is spacious and relaxing, while inside there is a cozy seating area in the bar and additional seating upstairs. A fantastic spot to grab a few drinks before heading into town or just stay and enjoy the atmosphere all night.
We pop in every now and then when passing, for a pint of Church End brewery Goats Milk (or 2 . No music (that I can remember , or TV, you can have a beer and a chat, and its got a good large covered smoking area out back. IF it looks busy down stairs, you can sit in the upstairs area, which feels like a living room! (unless the fiddlers are practising maybe . All you need :
children are not welcome and if you ask why expect a computer says No response.Attitude of the bar staff was very apathetic when questioned on child policy.I felt offended by there attitude and sad that my 11 year daughter was made to feel like a leper.If you are with famly dont bother there are plenty of other pubs around there.
Visited after we all had a meal in town , bar staff very welcoming . Wide selection of ales available, pub was very clean and had character. Plenty of seating inside and out and I would definitely visit again when in Worcester Book a table now
Since being taken over by Churchend breweries this popular real ale pub has expanded its range of drinks and recently revamped the outside area. See photos. Can't wait until hot food is offered .
Lovely beer and a tasteful refurbishment. Cosy outdoor log burner. The owners are lovely but are let down by their rather distracted staff that would rather talk to each other than serve you.
The Dragon pub, which has been renovated by Church End, is now a very nice place. However, it is a shame that they have lost most of its original character in the makeover process.
Not a pub we use regularly but usually the bar service is quick and efficient. Last night there were 3 staff, however no one seems bothered and to be honest the service was awful. Book a table now
