The 3 nan breads we ordered were missing. This is the second time this has happened. I tried to ring the restaurant multiple times but kept being put through to the answerphone. When eventually I did get through I explained the problem, the person I spoke to went to find out what had happened and then after a minute of waiting the call was ended. The food generally was good but was a little cold on arrival and we had to microwave everything.
Found this restaurant by accident and we were fortunate that it was open on a bank holiday Monday. The food was excellent and it was the best indian meal we had had in some while. The menu was quite extensive but it was evident that the dishes were individually prepared. Really good value.
Have been using Cafe Mela for a long time and have never had a problem before. However, yesterday our paneer order also contained chicken which was very disappointing as a vegetarian and will certainly make me think twice before ordering again.
Food was really nice, although I ordered a medium spice pasanda which tasted standard mild which was a little disappointing. But at least I know for next time to request hot instead to get the level of heat I like. Book a table now
Food very good as it always is and the delivery was on time and trouble free after a few problems lately.
Outstanding Indian takeaway. Food was hot (unlike Ashleys) food tasted great. Will definitely use again.
