We had a disappointing experience at The Elephant on a Friday night. We were the only customers in the restaurant and had to ask for the music to be turned on because it was so quiet. The waiter, who was also the chef for the night, took our order for drinks and food. The food took over 50 minutes to arrive, despite us asking multiple times about its status. The Eli burger we ordered turned out to be a bland coleslaw burger with excessive mayonnaise. They even ran out of rice by 7:30pm. To top it off, we found plastic in our poppadoms. The food was delicious! I should have requested my curry to be a bit spicier, but I finished everything on my plate and in my bowl.
