We were visiting the area for a few days and had been recommended Hoole Village for good places to eat. Captivated by the amount of 5 star reviews we decided to The Faulkner and were certainly not disappointed. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome, and the well decorated room was spotlessly clean. Meals are cooked to order from a range of locally sourced ingredients so don't arrive quickly but good food is always worth the wait. we had to book in advance because we couldn't get a table on the eve. only in the opposite for 3 days, so we were not disappointed on Google Card reviews. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. Eating was delicious, beautifully presented and good value for money. I had the salmon with summer veg risotto, hubby had the seabass, both were excellent with generous portions. give them safe layout of tabs and table service.

I was here to celebrate the high season in the mai and it was so good that we drove back to dinner last night. tom w served us and was charming. we had the shaders and the calamari was fab and it was very busy, so had a great atmosphere. very recommended x

Fantastic food and friendly, welcoming service and lovely atmosphere in the Faulker Arms. We went on a special Tapas Tuesday night, 4 small plates of your choice and wine for £25. Fab value for money, delicious food and only 5 mins away from our B&B.
Husband and I went tonight for the steak night. Had a few disappointing ones over the last year. I must say it was the best steak we've had that I haven't had to cook for years. Huge thankyou to the chef. Staff were friendly. Thank you xx
absolutely fantastic, the service is amazing and eating is always on place, I am a lazy to dinner at least once a week for the past year and the quality has never changed, I recommend you visit this place if not already.
One of the best bar meals I have had..... anywhere!!. Delicious 'proper ' beef pie with smooth, creamy mashed potato and vegetables. Decent real ales and a good atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely menu. A small but pleasant range of cocktails. The cosy shed makes a lovely drinking nook for a small party. Service was quick today and a quite ambitious pub menu
Absolutely fabulous food. Amazing gin selection. All locally sourced. Had the duck with rhubarb ketchup...they slayed it. Awards match the experience.
