I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to order room service from the restaurant. I ordered garlic bread, which was average, and salt & pepper squid, which was so tough that I feared it would break my teeth. The salmon I ordered was completely overcooked and dry, making it an unpleasant experience. I was highly disappointed and felt that I could have gotten a better meal from KFC. I called to complain, and although a staff member picked up the meals, I have yet to receive a call back from the owner. I am not holding my breath for a response. I believe a refund should be issued for this terrible dining experience.

The restaurant website boasts of a meal that is above average, but in reality, it is the standard fare found in most clubs and pubs across Australia. The service, however, was very welcoming. Despite arriving late and finding the staff already closing up, they warmly offered us anything from the menu. We were the only ones in the restaurant, even Keno was closed! The staff was friendly and the food was honest. Thank you for taking care of us tired travelers.

We enjoyed a meal here on our last road trip to Brisbane as it was a short walk from our accommodation. The food was served promptly and was very tasty. A popular place with workers from the nearby roadworks when we were there, which we took as a good sign. Well-priced food, with drinks at pub prices. Would return next time we're in the area. They also do delivery to the motel we stayed at - The City Centre Motel - if you don't feel like going out.

We got to the pub at about 9pm and the revive couldn't of been more lovely. The place is clean, and warm (winter), and it was pub grub for sure. The food is what you expect from a pub, not gourmet, but filling and a good variety. They will also do gluten free gravies and chips.
