Went there with friends and family for the first time. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the place looks and its kid friendly. That’s where the good ends. We ordered pork ribs, chicken tacos, kids dinosaur nuggets, Caesar salad and black pepper beef with steamed rice. The food ranged from disgusting to bland. The ribs were dry under seasoned and barely glazed. They could have been days old and I wouldn’t be surprised. Visited The Garden last night 02/09/22 in a group of 5 people for my grandfathers birthday dinner. The restaurant presents well and has a modern fit out. Staff were friendly and showed us to our table promptly. We ordered 5 main meals and 2 entrees from the entree list. The entrees and mains were brought to the table at the same time, ruining our restaurant experience and ability to enjoy both our mains and entrees. Additional information: This restaurant is INSIDE of the Wests Ashfield Leagues Club and when you 're alone, you have to be able to show that you 're over 18 (so bring your ID). I am a solo traveller at 18 and it 's my first Christmas alone, so I decided to have a nice lunch. For the 24th of December (Christmas is celebrated on that day in Germany) I booked a table over the phone (with a rather not so nice person). We noticed something different at our weekly markets, a lot of buzz around this new up and coming pop up stall for a new restaurant in Ashfield. The stall for the day was very successful. Breakfast bowl;; fermented vegetables and quinoa topped with a soft boiled free range egg drizzled with a walnut pesto $6 amazingly priced, i wish this was there every week, so simple yet delicious and healthy

Great place to take kids as there is a play area. Lots of variety on the menu. You do need to be a member of the club, unless you live far away or are signed in by a member the usual arrangement at such clubs. Members get discounts on food and drinks, so it’s worth it to sign up.
We had pizzas. The dough lacked salt and tasted like cardboard. The oven looks like a wood fire oven but it isn’t. It is a gas oven. The fire wood is just part of the decor. What a shame. Overpriced food. The toppings were good though but not worth a second visit.
The food can be a hit and miss here. Definitely recommend the scotch fillet steak and seafood plate. The lamb rump was good but the potatoes were burnt and lamb on the fatty side. We did also order the arranchinis but they tasted raw and frozen.
Have been here a number of times now and it is always an enjoyable dining experience. The venue is spacious and is well suited for families they even have a children's play area! Staff are super friendly and the food is great too.

We had our Christmas party here at lunch time. Organising it was easy, the area was separate to the rest of the restaurant, food was beautiful and staff easy to deal with. Thank you West's Ashfield Leagues.
Great place to hang out with a group of friends. Food was good and well priced. Also great for family in a relaxed atmosphere. Went there on a Saturday and glad we booked. Will visit again.
