This place is a countryside gem of a pub. The staff are friendly and attentive. The venue is amazing with a lovely, sprawling outdoor garden and patio great for dogs! (Who are also allowed inside woof). And if you ask at the bar, they will give your dog treatos. Nice selection of ales on tap. There's a good range of different items on the menu, although I knocked a star off as the dumplings in broth I had was unbelievably salty... We've been coming here for many years, and it's always been fantastic. The food is always and still remains wonderful. The portions are big, and the choice of starters and nibbles are so delicious. It's always a hard one to pick as having a main course. Your eyes can get bigger than the belly. Dont get me started in the puddings). The Sunday roasts were gorgeous and plenty, and I love the fact that they ask if you would like extra gravy when you are served. On Sundays, they are busy, so please be patient. Relax, enjoy. This beautiful pub offers a fantastic selection of gluten-free pub meals, including some delicious desserts. I highly recommend the fish and chips, as well as the sticky toffee pudding. The fish and chips were fantastic, and the selection of real ales was outstanding. My wife enjoyed the fishcake and thought it was delicious. The dining experience was excellent, with a warm welcome, quick and efficient service, all set in a beautiful building. Highly recommended!

Really rate this pub Food was high quality Kids meals were huge Staff were really friendly Allows dogs which adds to the atmosphere. Has a great outdoor space with a tractor to sit on.
