My family and I visited this restaurant a week ago, and everything was absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. With a party of six, everyone left happy. The scallops were exceptional—I ordered them because I have a real love for scallops, and I know it can be easy to mess them up by serving small, poorly cooked ones. However, these were perfectly sized and delicious. We were all impressed with the cucumber salad that accompanied our appetizers! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, but the presentation was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. mitzi was my son and I waitress. She was very pleasant and did everything right. The food was very delicious. I had a soft crab burger egg drop soup and for appetizers I had jumbo fried shrimp with shredded carrots cream cheese there was a mini salad that came with it and was so delicious. My son had the stuffed jalapeño ? that was also very good. He also had the dish with the shrimp and rice. I tasted it and Oh My God. I had a mimosa for my drink. The food is budget friendly and I will eat here again next time with my husband.
SO WORTH IT! My best friend and I dined here for her birthday dinner and we enjoyed our experience. I've heard good things about Laughing Owl and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Sweet Chili crispy chicken with fried rice and it also came with broccoli. I was very satisfied with it's taste and it was plentiful. For our appetizer we ordered Oysters Rockefeller and enjoyed it's bed of Cucumber salad. We also had Lemon Drop martinis. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back.
The menu is quite varied, and we really enjoy the live music they offer. We encountered one issue during our visit, but Mr. Peter P. personally came out of the kitchen on a busy night to speak with my friend. He was very kind, addressed the problem, and we left feeling quite pleased. We’ll definitely be returning. The food is excellent, the music is fantastic, and we fully support a dedicated owner who prioritizes customer satisfaction. Thank you!

Diamond was such a gem! She was such a sweet waitress and when a customer forgot a part of his order, she ran out to hand it to him. The plating was so beautiful and the food tasted amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. I'm so glad I found this spot, my family loved it. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. I got recommend this spot.
Good option in Downtown Goldsboro. Highlights: The food was fresh and delicious, although something about salted service was pleasant and attentive without swimming. Very large space, seating was not a problem. Only minor problems: imbalance in salad chicken ratio no cutlery or napkins tables general appearance is a little shabby and could refresh a little
Got an order through grub hub and it?s amazing!! I got general tsos chicken and it?s real chicken not the breaded stuff you usually get. It?s very flavorful and fresh!! The rice is different, but very very good. Can?t wait to try more dishes.
Dispite cliché entrée titles food was above average. Definitely a must visit and a top 10 in Goldsboro.
