regrettable when we arrived, but we had booked. fast to order drinks to take/out, then we were told that there was a backlog in the kitchen. determined to order only net that came an hour after drinks. had to go into the bar to get additional drinks. Slowly. to ask if we wanted Dessert/Coffe until what time we had enough. then the card machine did not work and we paid money instead of waiting longer until it was connected. eating was good, but not good overall experience. they told us about Kitchen Backlog, but we didn't know how long, and we had committed until then.
I've not been here in about years but went last night. The decor is well done, the staff were friendly and efficient and they had a reasonable choice of drinks. They do food as well and although we didn't try it, the food looked well presented and decently portioned. The outside seating area is well decked out and is a good size to cater for larger groups. for a pint of McEwan's is a very fair price outside of a club or British Legion.
We were walking passed and decided to go in for a drink. The staff were warm and friendly and said did we want to eat. We said that we had just come in for drinks. While we were sitting there we saw the food coming...out from the kitchen as we couldn't get food at our hotel we decided to eat there and glad we did. Both our meals were excellent and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.
Three of us just had a late lunch after golfing. Staff were friendly and quick, and the food was lovely. A couple of us asked for no chips as we're trying to slim down a bit (yeah ! like that's gonna do the trick The kitchen saw this and made up our plates with extra salads and delicious low carb alternatives really good work, as they could have just left off the chips. Recommend.

Nice bar, tables are spaced out pretty well. Menu is a little underwhelming but the food quality is pretty good. Would be nice to have some different/unique food on the menu. Staff seemed nice and friendly when serving. Would go back if they made some small changes to their menu
the novar for bar-lunches for many years, but since covid not, but will not be back. hour and a quarter waiting for a meal for 3 eating was ok, except the chips that were uneingable. it looked like someone thought the same thing. great disappointment.
Fantastic lunch menu, large portions, wee bit of a wait as it was busy, but worth it. Staff are kept very busy but on it if you need anything. Thank you to Connell and staff for a lovely lunch would recommend.
Service took 45 minuets to deliver 2 main courses, one main had a lot of excess oil and the other mains sauce had split and became gritty. Staff were very polite and friendly, Shane the food wasn’t up-to much.

of us visited today and had a lovely course lunch. All meals were delicious. The servers were very attentive. Good value for money. Will definitely be eating here again.
