Upon approaching the restaurant, the enticing smell of BBQ beckons you inside. They offer a great variety of meats; although the brisket was already sold out when I arrived, the juicy chicken more than made up for it. The sides come in generous portions, especially the Mac and cheese and cornbread which come highly recommended. The sweet potatoes are also a standout, serving as a delectable dessert to complement the meal.
Stopped by at 6pm on a Friday and they were out of brisket, fries and Mac and cheese. We were looking forward to eating here but left when we found out all of the things we were looking for were out. Not sure if this is a regular occurrence but having at least the sides you serve available during prime dinner time on a weekend night should be expected.
Freakin’ awesome bbq!! We had the pork bbq sandwiches and coleslaw, and they were moist and flavorful and just amazing. Fries were hot and fresh. The owner treated us to his banana pudding — T.O. D.I.E. F.O.R.GREAT FOOD. GREAT STAFF. GREAT SERVICE. We’re contemplating moving back here to enjoy this every weekend!?
The food is delicious. Ribs are tender, smoked and seasoned just right. I have tried the whole menu and everything is good! I travel a long way and don’t mind making the trip to get this barbecue. Please make sure you try the Mac and cheese it is soooo good! Great service. Good atmosphere. Book a table now
I have eaten at the Pit Stop restaurant and also ordered takeout from there. I have never been disappointed with the food - everything is delicious. My favorite side dish is the Mac and cheese. I highly recommend you check it out! As for parking, there is plenty of free parking available.
Words cannot describe how delicious this food is! The chicken was well seasoned and the BBQ sauce nicely complimented it. This is a must try! Not to mention, the yams and Mac n cheese were GOOD! Buttery and flavorful in every bite.
Pit Stop has catered events for Porter House International Realty several times, and each time the food has been delicious, flavorful, and plentiful. I highly recommend them for catering services.

Simply the best in the area. I drive 2 hours round trip for their ribs at least once a month…it’s absolutely worth it !!! Heck, the sauce alone is worth the trip. ? ? ?
