Having seen many positive reviews for this café I contacted the place to see if they accepted dogs, which they do, both inside and outside. Consequently I decided this would be a great little café to attend with my family during our holiday, and booked a table in advance. Upon arriving at the café, the appearance was much less than it was advertised as, and looked more like a greasy spoon café than an 'up market ' one. We ordered a toastie, a cheese jacket potato and a big breakfast. We also ordered a San Pellegrino and two pots of tea. When the drinks arrived the San Pellegrino was provided in a can with a plastic cup to pour it in to. The two pots of tea arrived with two slightly dirty cup...
The food drink at The Quirky Bird, Penzance is really tasty. I arrived in Penzance for a holiday on the 12th of June stopped off at this little cafe for a coke a sausage, cheese local cider chutney. It was delicious very satisfying. There is such a wide selection of toasties to choose from. Staff were really friendly, attentive cooked the toastie to perfection. Went back to this cafe on the 14th of June had a raspberry Quirky Shake (see photo) a bacon, brie cranberry sauce toastie. A unique cafe I'd definitely like to visit again. Thank you to all the staff at Quirky Bird!
We went to this restaurant for lunch and were impressed by the extensive menu choices. The staff seemed to recognize some customers by name, indicating that they were regulars. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, but we made a mistake with the bacon sandwich. There were two options available - one for adults and one for kids. We accidentally ordered the kids' version for our daughter, not realizing it was much cheaper on the regular menu. Despite coming with a side salad that she didn't want, it was ultimately our error.
We were looking gor somewhere to have breakfast in Penzance. We found this lovely quirky cafe. There breakfast menu was so different. I opted for Eggy Bread, Bacon, and Maple Syrup. It was delicious, and so filling, and mouthwatering. I would definitely recommend this cafe. The staff were so friendly, and polite. The cafe even had a cuckoo clock.

This place is a real gem. Not very far from the railway or bus station. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and the cakes looked delicious. The inside is a bit quirky with paintings and cards for sale and seems to be a favourite place with the local people. We went there 3 mornings in a row and we were not disappointed.
I was craving a toastie and this place came highly recommended- it did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and even allowed dogs inside. The toastie was excellent and they also had a wide variety of homemade tray bakes. Definitely worth a visit.
Cornish cream tea here was made perfect by the friendly and helpful staff. Coffee instead of tea was no bother. The scone was fresh and tasy and plenty of cream to go with it. A very relaxed atmosphere.
This charming café offers delicious food and coffee at affordable prices. We only had 2 days in Penzance, but we enjoyed lunch at this café on both days. The staff are also very friendly!
