We ordered fish chips and an ultimate burger. The fish was tiny in comparison to those served at other weatherspoons (felt like a small portion) and was borderline batterless. To say it was an ultimate burger, it was very disappointing and resembled more of a child size burger. Chips were barely cooked with hard pieces of potato inside. Also, venue was airless with no air-con on a hot day.
Great food as ever at Spoons. But for goodness sake employ more staff. Everything was an unacceptable wait. One serving tables and one the bar isn't enough. Tables were not cleared and it wasn't even busy! We went elsewhere for drinks after dining as the wait was verging on ridiculous.
Three weeks in a row and always something that they don’t have. First two weeks no bottles of wine and no w today no draft lager. **** and bull story given by the staff as to why, but given the size of this company any issues would and should be sorted immediately
Food was standard spoons, service was decent, atmosphere OK. Wheelchair accessible entrance to the front, but a lift down to the actual bar which is barriered off, bar staff assistance required to use so if you hate making a fuss or asking for help avoid. Book a table now
It's 20.45 and temperature outside is 19 degrees. Flipping cold in here so won't be staying for food. Didn't complain as was cold in another Wetherspoons and was told they couldn't do anything about it as air-conditioning was centrally controlled.
I stopped by for lunch while passing through and was impressed with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I would definitely visit again.
Enjoyed.going in although I'm not a big fan of wetherspoons pubs. This one was clean. Drinks as usual cheap
£1.99 a pint. 5*. Excellent service, polite friendly staff. Food was fine for price paid. Book a table now
