great place and beautiful staff. we were a little disappointed that when we asked for dinner we closed the kitchen. that was about 10 o'clock when we said the kitchen was closed at 9 o'clock. since our booking was 8 o'clock, this was surprising that it was not said when we sat down. that said I would still recommend the place with the kaviat of "conscious of the kitchen times '.

the menu choices were limited as the kitchen had run out of the eating, only told by the limited menu options after we had made our decisions, so had to go for a more expensive option. the waitress was very apologetic, but seemed to run from her feet.
the service was excellent. the restaurant was very popular at bozz about it. the decor looks a little tired and the toilets were a chaos that influenced the overall note. a little decor update is the answer. Book a table now
Busy. Need to book. Lots of noise due to number of people at bar. Ordered aperitif at same time as we ordered food and the food came first! Food good as was the aperitif.
I am sure that someone somewhere, like chains pubs, that are visited by pikies, and young people think it is manifold, loud and violent if that is not them.
the red lion was our choice for a proper lunch. I was a bit comprehensible that I was eating in a pub, but this proved to be a comfortable experience.
we came to the birthday to get dessert. the restaurant had not many people in it. we ordered 4 desserts and after just an hour we did it. Book a table now
