The Saddle Inn is a great pub my twin brother Stephen and I visited on a recent two day trip to Chester pre coronavirus lockdown , it's a pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip into this historic walled city...I take. I love the interior, a wonderful looking pub ,the main room is dominated by a very eye catching serving bar complete with fantastic looking beer pumps that are made from guitar stems ,theres great decor and furnishings including all manner of rock'n'roll posters adorning the walls, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub all housed in a great looking building, its just a wonderful pub. it wasn't sure what you expected with ted letter credit card as booked. the saddle inn is something quirky and differs from our usual stay overs. the stairs and our bathroom needed a small dc, but everything else was on it. the greeting and...the review was good and all the workers we met were very pleasant. the cook we believe is completely new to hang on it) sent a 1 St-Class breakfast two tomorrow and a great meal at our second night. all beautiful and fresh, cooked to order. rebecca was beautiful and very obligated, nothing too much annoyed. the saddle inn is a good location for the city center, the river dee and the city walls to foot. if they have a talent and want to join, they have a...
Visited Chester last september to see a friend of mine and we spent majority of the time in The Saddle. The friendliest bar staff, the BEST atmosphere and never felt more welcome. The food is amazing and the venue itself reminded me of a couple...of old pubs I used to frequent in Norwich back in the 90's. I can't say anything more positive about The Saddle. Leigh and his staff run an amazing pub/music venue and I cannot wait to visit again in the near future!!
This hotel/pub is an incredible place from the moment you first walk in you are met by welcoming and friendly staff, the managers/owners are very helpful and do their absolute all to make your stay an enjoyable one. The atmosphere in the bar is fantastic, great beer and great people would highly recommend staying here if in Chester

A great venue for live music and such friendly hosts ,who work hard at making the Saddle a great place to visit . The saddle has a welcoming covered outside area for smokers also a television . The Saddle also serve food and has accommodation. Its in a great spot for all the shops and city centre attractions .
The staff are amazing, the music food and drinks are all great and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s not far from the main shops to walk to. I can recommend staying here and thank the staff for helping make our stay...so enjoyable x
This restaurant in Chester is one of the few rock bars in the area. The live music was fantastic and they even had sports playing on TV while I was there. Overall, it was a great experience.
Nice friendly staff and good location was a bit disappointed with the dinner menu not a lot of choice but the breakfast made up for it.
