Loved everything about this place , decor is rustic funky and comfortable.( even the toilets are interesting). Service is quick and friendly and the food is just amazing !Very inexpensive varied menu . They have a great entree special - 3 for $20 or 6 for $35 - & the serves are very generous , Arancini balls were a stand out for us . We also had a burger , steak , fries and everything was delicious and cooked really well .Great $15 lunch special that includes a drink.Make sure to save room for the desserts , omg they are amazing ! We had the salted caramel & popcorn panna cotta and the chocolate filled spring rolls oh they were to die for,they are only $5 a serve or $20 for a platter of ever...
Food was great and cheap. Service was friendly and fast and the place is nice to be in; it's well decorated and with some eye-catching design aspects (check out the beer keg urinals and wash basins!). Great 'happy hour' specials and dining specials for particular days of the week. Would happily return here again - the only downside is the parking, which can be a painful experience in the local area. Best bet seems to be a block to the north.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this inner-city pub.The menu choices were highlighted by the GF taster dishes I put together and I can recommend the Chorizo, Bufflalo Wings and $2 Cider on tap to wash them down.My ears are still ringing two later from the dance music in the upstairs bar, but it was a Friday night and the local Uni students were in full data-dump mode.Parking took a little time to find, suggest taking an Über or Taxi.
I discovered this place when I was spending a lot of time at the RMH in 2016. The staff are welcoming, the steak is terrific and prices are fantastically reasonable. It's a really good option, especially if you are on your own, can't be bothered to cook and want a nice meal in a pleasant environment. I now go about once a fortnight and I love it. I can eat and have a glass of wine and its less than $20. What's not to like?

An amazing deal got us there, but the food will keep us coming back! Entrée, main and dessert were all great - and innovative. Husband's steak was cooked to perfection and my zucchini macadamia burger was absolutely delicious! Generous servings and good to the last bite. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you - I will recommend to all I know!
I visited here recently with a scoopon voucher. I happened to be staying nearby. The portions were a nice size , not overly massive. The drinks prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly. Nice atmosphere with good outdoor seating. Would go again.
Suuuuuper cheap drinks and lively atmosphere. A bit studenty, but enough nooks to get away and have a conversation with your date! (Went well thanks for asking)
Probably best suited to a younger crowd tolerant of noise bustle and just average service. Beer choice accaptable but don't bother with the pizzas.

$9 for a Hahn light beer & $10 for O'Briens. Sticky floors, loud patrons at bar using extremely obscene language. Never again.
Five dollar pizzas and two dollar pots. Can see that there is place for the Slum. Just not a place for me.
