dissatisfied. I recently visited the ship's gas house in handbridge after a lot of anticipation on listening mixed reviews. unfortunately all bad, where true. overpriced and cold food, poor service that has been hurried, and a total Scottish service approach. the promised good restaurants and views where both sadly untrue. a complete one, the least to say.
Absolutely lovely place. We sat upstairs so could look out onto the park and the river. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, but not intrusive in any way. There were 4 of us oldies and we had a great lunch. Food was lovely, drinks reasonable and the service outstanding.
Lovely warm welcome, great service and The most delicious Thai king prawn curry I’ve ever tasted! (I can’t believe it’s now been taken off the menu! I’m so disappointed)
beautiful place. they ran out a few things on the menu, but it was a bank holiday. all in all, good meal and service. maybe a touch overpriced, but would go again.
