Went on a busy Thursday evening, the energy was great! Live music, a lot of dancing, fantastic drinks. But if it is so busy, do not even think of ordering food! It took one hour just to get a plate of chicken and waffles, and half of the chicken had zero-spice and was under cooked - raw in some parts! Super disappointed because I was looking forward to an American cooking of Homestyle. I also wanted to sit and talk to my friends and enjoy their company, but at some points, the music was only so loud, where we were practically writing together, so we could hear. I really want to give this place and the food go to another, but only avoid the absolutely ridiculous Thursday evening quantity.
Had a cracking evening with friends only to be told a security guard thought I was 'intoxicated' after watching me dance! Hard to stomach after 5 bottles of beer and dancing with my girlfriend. Rest of our group had no idea what the problem was when I got asked politely to leave. Understandably my partner was confused as I'd done nothing wrong except dance and have a good time with her. Shame that the staff had to ruin a few people's night with the sense of power. Always such a shame that Sydney cannot relax like it used to. This venue caters for a certain crowd, enjoy if you are part of it, otherwise you will be targeted. Embarrassment to a beautiful city.

The worst 40 dollars have been spent so far.
The restaurant and bar are really cool to look at and there is a good American diner vibe. The drinks are reasonably priced and house drinks are only $5 during happy hour (5-7pm). On Tuesdays you can get the cheap hotdogs which range from $1-3 and are really good although you will need to order more than one as they aren't that big. Wednesday there is a chicken wing deal and Thursdays do $5 burgers which are different every time and so far have all been good! Thursdays also offer live music and the vibe is great! It gets very busy here during happy hour so booking a table is definitely a good idea!
