We had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger and fries which was very good and cooked when we ordered it so was hot off the griddle. We sat at one of the tables available instead of taking it to go. They also have a food area where you can get a to go plate with choice of different meats and the sides to go with it. The fried catfish looked very good which I will probably try the next time we go.It is a quick shop/truck stop type of location, but it was very clean and had several people to wait on you. There was hardly any wait time to get what you want unless you order from the griddle like we did and that didn't take any longer than required to cook our burger.
Good food and atmosphere, however unfortunately either they recently got new card reader machines that are next to the Register or a skimmer attachment however unfortunately said card reader machine scratched my debit card chip while using the chip reader had a terrible experience yesterday with the machine messing up my card and another event today with another new card, they need to get the machine fixed and stop being so oblivious to the situation thinking everything is fine
We had dinner with family at The Southern Chef. The owners made sure we were happy with our food. The young people behind the counter taking and filling our orders were very helpful, polite and friendly. They were patient with us too as they waited for us to make our choices. Food is good. Restaurant is very clean. We enjoyed our visit
The food is always hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can get in and out in a timely manner on your lunch break or while grabbing breakfast before work. The location is ideal for those who work in one of the local factories. Dine in or carry out. The Southern Chef is the the way to go!!

Fantastic showers, clean store, friendly staff, and delicious food! Be sure to try the TRIPLE CHIPOTLE BURGER! And for all the truckers out there, they do accept Pilot points for both showers and food.
Found this place while researching places to eat. 10/10. Burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. Price was very affordable.
