Called in for a late lunch. I don’t have a big appetite so chose something from the senior citizens menu, my husband ordered a full main course. The waitress said that she would have to ask the chef if he would do the menu for...me she said he is funny about doing it) she came back and said that, that particular menu was only available Mon-Fri, it clearly stated Mon-Sat on the menu. We ordered something else and then thought better of it. We left. There was one other table eating and one man sat nursing a pint when we left.
We visited this restaurant for a late evening meal with my wife and, as always with Green Crab establishments, we were very impressed with the service and food. The quality of the food was not compromised by the generous portions, and the manager Ray was very attentive and committed to ensuring a pleasant dining experience for his guests. The restaurant fully adhered to Covid-19 regulations, and we left with a smile on our faces, already looking forward to our next visit on Wednesday. Highly recommended!
We recently dined at the village , even though we had booked and it wasn’t overly busy we still waited nearly 50 minutes for a sandwich, which wasn’t as described on the menu . The menu’s and condiments weren’t wiped down between customers and unfortunately...no track and trace was evident
The fish and chip Friday at this restaurant is excellent. However, the atmosphere was mainly dominated by rowdy drinkers, some of whom were quite loud and swearing. Most of the tables were empty, so it seems like the owners need to decide which type of customers they want to attract most.

We had an excellent meal and service last night. We both tried the recommended Beef Bourguignon and were glad we did because it was delicious. We can't wait to have it again. Kate and the team provided excellent service. Well done!
Lovely day out and 1st class service. Food was delicious and pleased to see the track and trace was in place. Also tables were socially distanced and glad to see staff are adhering to the Covid 19 government guidelines.

Had lunch here today. Food was faultless (excellent rump steak and vegetable chilli). Will definitely be back. One to try.
